Was what he said
PATIENCE
Was something he delivered
Dedication
Is what I BELIEVE he showed me
But that ONE weekend,
“I call quits”
Is what he said to me
Time goes by
SILENCE was in the air
6th Day of school
A hug and words were exchanged
I felt the love still THERE
9th day of school
My feelings are back in
That deep, very shallow, pool of water
