More Than a Game
From start to finish I’m in heaven.
 I picture heaven,
As a grass filled area, with white lines from edge to edge,
 with two metal goals.
Even something such as practice, which most people hate. I love.
The drills that is boring. I love.
I love dribbling the ball through cones.
I love the way it feels when I strike it.
The runs at the end of practice. I love.
I love everything about this game.
It’s a place that I feel at home.
It’s a place where all my thoughts go away.
