We live in hope for tomorrow
a chance for today
a breath in a child
a land far far away

We pray for the new
and release from the old

We sing for love
and block out the cold

We lie to ourselves
in fear of the truth

We hide from pain
our minds aloof
a life in innocence
no more to dread
our hearts in pain,
only bleeding red
