Salty Foam, thick sirloin cloistering
them and coating their mouths
with nastiness
Your mother said to stop swearing
She's gone and so are the waves
I'm sitting on the
dock with the dry wood
under my fingertips
raw feet sunk deep into
the death of the sea
sometimes we wondered
how can it hurt just to cry?
