A Quiet Room
A quite room has come before me
Not a sound
Not a person
The room is cold, and dull
The room has nothing but memories
My childhood memories
This was my room from birth to seven
I have a new room from eleven to now
As I turn the light out
And close the door
I cry a little
It's a sad cry, and a happy cry
I cry a little wishing that it would all work out
I cry a little knowing it's for the best
The best for everyone
As I turn the light out, and close the door
I cry a little
But knowing
That the next door will be better
