Kiss Me Long and Lovely

Kiss me long and lovely,
hold me tight and close,
for when the day is done,
it’s you I love the most.

And when the night comes,
the moonlight shining through,
I’ll need your help and guidance,
to show me what to do.

I am lost without a hand to lead me,
like a dog gone astray,
but if you help me through the night,
I’ll stay with you by day.

So please hold me in your strong arms,
I’m frightened, are you too?
I don’t know much about anything,
but I do know I love you.
