Alone
Countless times at
night she whispers
her good byes that
bring tears.
She curls up as
she cries because
her heart longs for
the happy memories.
And when she finally
sleeps she dreams
of such torturous
things.
She'll never know if
it was her own fault.
She'll never know
what could have been.
Her friends surround
her in the daytime.
But behind the masks
they're all strangers.
She's alone in her
sorrow. she's alone
in her heartbreak.
Always alone in her pain.
