The Pekingese, waiting in the emperor’s sleeve
Watching those who come and go
And barking at those who he disfavors so…
The Pekingese in the emperor’s sleeve
Prideful, believing himself powerful
And always the one in charge
The Pekingese believing himself the strongest of them all
As stubborn as the ox
And as sly as the fox
The Pekingese is
The Pekingese in the emperor’s sleeve

Bear, my chinese pekingese dog inspired me to write this poem for my English class in school. I'm sure pekingese lovers everywhere will get a kick out of this funny poem.
