This is me
I make mistakes.
I can be insecure,
Sometimes I’m not sure.
I can be shy,
Please don’t say bye.
I maybe a screw up,
But you’re no Mr. Perfect.
We used to be best friends.
Close like siblings,
But here’s the thing;
You gave up on me,
Left.
Never called,
Because I am a screw up.
But I guess,
You’re not worth the tears,
Even though, we were best friends for years.
You don’t trust me at all.
So now this is it,
This is goodbye,
To you,
And your standards.
I am who I am.
You let me go,
That’s your mistake to show.
