My Brother That Is Gone

If I told you I loved you,
What would you do,

We were always together,
I even told you,

We soared forever,
At least that's what I thought,

When it came to push and shove,
Everything just stopped,

We should have stuck together,
Till the very end,

I tried and tried,
But it just didn't happen,

I wanted us to be together,
But because of reasons it's taking forever,

So when I got the guts to ask you why,
It seemed the only thing said was goodbye,

So if this is how it's going to be,
Then I will never seek to be with thee.

My dad said that before I was born I had a brother that was with me in my moms womb. He had a dream that he found a old and a new camera but threw away the old one. Then the next day the doctor said the other child was gone in my moms womb. This story my dad had told me inspired me to write this poem.
