Heart beating in time with her steps,
Tock-tock, on the street
And in her blood
Bright city girl
Her elbows clenched
And her fingers flickering
Like the lights soaked into her hair,
Meeting the sunbeams with a neon halo

While wordlessly she walks
With an army of coffee cups behind her
And her eyelashes shaking in the wind
Lost city girl-
