When the Rain Pours Pain
The summer leaves begin to turn
The winter days are new and born
Then the rain comes and pours
 Raining down the lovely hurt
Can we blame someone when it’s not their fault?
Rely on the people to arise
Begin to capture the pain in lies
Start the transition into shorter days
 When the rain pours pain..
When the despondency upon us abstain
We stare in the eyes of despair
We cry and the wind conveys it through the air
 Letting the music blare
 Drowning in the raindrops
 Falling on the rooftops
Upon us, grasping for the daylight
 When the days get shorter
All we can see is the heart filled with fight
 When it rains, it pours
 It pours the pain.
