Strange isn’t it
The smiles are fake
The laugh is dry
The words are empty
I’m not good
I’m not fine

I’m angry, sad, and lonely
I see the faces
I see the other smiles
I notice the other laughs
But they fuzzle out
Before they reach me
I question
I wonder
I want answers

The droplets are still there
