Looking down on the crashing waves
Standing on top of the highest cliff
What happens if the water is shallow or the mud under me caves?
But those are just what ifs
If I just jump in now, without thinking,
I’m sure it’ll be fun
All I can think about is me just sinking
It sure would feel nice, getting out of this sun.
But for now, I’ll just stay up here
The sun isn’t that bad
I can ignore all the cheering in my ear
My friends, they’ll understand, they won’t get mad
