I Don't Think So
Let him be forgotten?
I don't think so.
But I guess the pain will fade.
They say some wounds never heal.
But I can tell you this.
I don't think so.
They say they're sorry.
Then they do it again.
They apologize.
They beg for forgiveness.
Then I tell them this.
I don't think so.
He says he will never be happy.
He hasn't said a word since the 'incident'.
He says life isn't worth living.
I tell him this,
I don't think so.
She says the world is a beautiful place,
where people can be people,
where we can cry and laugh together.
She says she loves life, and that I should to.
Then I tell her this,
I think so too.
