Flowers
The wind blows, softly, softly
My friends are all around me
Hustling, bustling in the dark
I sway, just as the others sway
waiting for the sunlight to touch my face

The warm, orange rays hit me
I open, and my colors burst forth
I see those around me
There are many of us
and their colors run
Some yellow, some violet, some red, some white
We are flowers in the field
and we wait for the sun
