Hope ablaze

the light is mostly always on
so the others can see
but there are moments when its dark
the times when its only me
a candle light cannot suffice
the dark is much too deep
the one escape my mind can find
is in the longest sleep
but who can turn back on the glow
and ring the bells again
who can set the chimes on fire
and make the days unblend
a flicker strong and true beyond
but not far,just ahead
a blazing becan saying much
with words still left unsaid
