Leaves on a tree,
Part of a whole,
From a distance they are one,
But when approached they are many,
Silently doing the trees bidding,
Do they know their place?
Or assume significance?
For they are one of many,
Working for a greater good.

The author's comments:
I was just trying to do pass the time and saw a tree, they I made a reference between the trunk and the leaves, and this poem was born.
