I should have looked out for you,
For now you are too old.
I feel it was my job,
And now your life could be cold.
I did not tell you what to expect,
That was my mistake and now it is
Too late for me to direct.

My brother inspired me to write this poem. I hope other teens that read this will see it and think "hey, i need to look out for my younger siblings."
