Oh how I love my ticking clock
I take it everywhere I go
It tells me the hour
It tells me the minute
Oh I love my ticking clock
Every second it ticks and tocks
It wakes me up
It alarms me for an upcoming task
Oh how I love my ticking clock
You come in many sizes and forms
Big analog or small digital
Always right on time
Oh how I hate my ticking clock
For it never tells me the time I yearn,
The time I need,
The time I have left.
