Inside
You disguise yourself to others,
With a façade they like to see.
But your real persona is a strict inverse.
You certainly cannot fool me.
How much longer can it hold?
When will the boiling rage and sadistic ways
Stand flagrant out in bold?
Your friends will see who you really are
No longer the one with the heart of gold.
You must make accord with the devil inside,
Or else dire consequences will soon arise.
If not the creature within will preside,
I beg you, be unlike Jekyll and Hyde.
You know who you want to be,
You know who you are,
You know how you ought to be,
Don’t make who you once were leave a scar.
You can’t fool yourself.
