you held me strong
You don’t give me the time of day,
Yet I always stay.
You drive me crazy half the time,
Tell me baby,
Why?
I look at you and all I see,
Are glistening eyes staring back at me.
Your voice is so sweet,
How could it be beat.
Now we’re nothing.
I look your way,
But soon you part my day.
I try to smile,
But it feels you just run a mile.
Now we’re nothing.
You’re just so perfect,
I know I’m not worth it.
But if you gave me the chance,
I sweat we’d have the perfect romance.
You meant so much,
You had your touch,
You were my everything,
But now we’re nothing.
You kept it on,
You held me strong,
Then you left.
Without a goodbye.
And now we’re nothing.
I’ve moved on,
And I’m doing well,
Like it should’ve been all along
