Uphill
Listening to the elderly,
One hears of problems with planning
“if only, if only,
I had prepared more”.
Hiking yields a similar result,
When preparing for a climb,
one focuses on the thrill of the peak,
and remembers it for the duration of the decline.
Life is like a Mountain
We spend our whole lives
Concentrating on progressing higher,
That we sometimes forget about
the venture back down.
Why must we break down?
Let us rise,
Let us rejoice our days, one by one,
Let us make everyday a peak.
