It's Christmas time come on lets sing
Lets gather around and let the jingle bells ring
Joyful screams from children arise
As the gaze of excitement fills their eyes

The Christmas tree lights up the entire room
While the Christmas spirit removes all the gloom
Kids try to guess what their presents may be
While the parents sit around and drink coffee

The children listen to hear Santa's slay
If they actually see him they'll beg him to stay
It's Christmas morning and the children awake
Running in the room with a smile on their face

The kids play from morning to night
There isn't a empty belly in sight
The room is filled with laughter and tears
As they share their stories of Christmas' throughout the years

It's beggining to get a little late
And their struggling to keep their kids awake
The time has come and the family must go
They have a long journey home through the wintry snow
