The Day the Music Died
Do you remember the last time you heard an instrument in a song?
One that really made you want to sing along?
It has really been a long time,
since I last heard a good song that rhymed.
Music now is really too digital.
The decline of real music is getting critical.
What’s the point of learning to play,
If with a computer, and Google,
You could write a song in a day.
I believe that music will soon die,
This is no lie,
If we don’t fix this mess,
and give bad music a rest.
What’s the point of saying “Rock on!”,
If music will never again rock?
Music has just died,
and a little part of me just cried,
because music had died.
That was something to think about,
While you listen to a real song,
Like “Twist and Shout”.
