I refuse to cry.
I just won’t do it.
I heard all your lines.
Talking to you would be a crime.
No, not this time.
You’ve put me through enough,
This, that, lots of stuff.
I always seem to forgive you.
Thinking maybe we could start new.
But not this time
Even if I wanted to,
You don’t seem to have a clue.
I keep doing this to myself.
My feelings shoulda been left on the shelf,
But not this time.
I miss you.
I truly do.
But I don’t deserve this.
I don’t deserve you.
Not this time.
Next time will be different.
I’ll be over it.
I’ll move on with my life,
And try to forget.
Just not this time.
