A pool of red liquid is all
That remains from the internal conflict
Of the cynical young fellow.
Within that puddle is the
Memory of what was, and
The myriad of possibilities of
What could have been of
The reflection of the ghost looking back on its existence.
All that remains now is a phial and knife,
Adjacent to a note,
Trying to ask for forgiveness of
The horrible action it has caused
