writeing frees the soul from mind and body (jay n hendrickson)

All I need is one just one more thing to keep me going that’s all I ask
The pills just can’t hide cruelness in front of me.
Please lord just one show me there is still hope left in this world.
I don’t want to live in a world like this.

All these thoughts race threw my mind as I walk to the bridge to jump.
I just need to see one act of kindness please god show me..
That’s all I need.

So there I am on the edge of the bridge.
This is it here I go.
3 2 1
Stop!!!!!!!!!
I hear a very familiar voice.
I look there sits a man in a wheelchair.
No legs beat down giant long beard.
Looks at me and says son what are doing?
I look at him and say I just cant take it
He says take what?
I said this world there’s no hope anymore.
There’s no more good to be found

He looks at me and say son I lost both my legs in war
I’ve lost my house.
My wife past away.
I am forced to sleep under a bridge for shelter.
I even starve to sleep every night.
Yet I still find hope in this world to keep going.
If you think you have a bad hand son.
Just look at me.

I wanted to argue but just couldn’t find the words to explain my thoughts.
So I stood there battling my self could this be it or is he right?
I clime down and say sir thank you are right.
I asked sir what’s your name
He said call me a friend
Then I blinked and he was gone
