Fallen Angel
Oh how I looked up to you my angel
as your wings seemed to float above
you wore a gleaming halo
composed of my hearts love.
My angel, my savior
whom hangs in the sky
can you hear my shouts,
my pleas, my cries?
I scream to you my angel
he who wears a crown of black
how can you bestow this gift,
and simply take it back?
Oh my king,
my lord, my pride
why do you fly away,
drifting from my side?
My angel I am not angry
for there is acceptance on my face
I suppose even a savior needs saving
you, my angel, have fallen from grace.
