One Day
Life
The tears in my eyes came so slowly
Despite that we all saw it coming
Because you were so sickly
His hands swooped down and whisked you away
I will never forget the feeling of that sad sad day
Even though sometimes, I still may cry
I know that I will see you again the day that I too die
You’ll dry my eyes and say no more
You’ll meet me at that golden door
And I’ll be happy to see you again
In Jesus name I pray AMEN!
