Golden droplets of sun
Sparkle on the lake,
Morsels of shells sprinkle
The ivory bay;
Like precious jewels
Waiting to be found.
A soft breeze
Caresses her surface
Like reuniting lovers.
The sun sports
A facetious grin,
As it stares at its reflection
On the serene cerulean water.
An old red boat
Rocks rhythmically against
The wooden dock,
?
Humming a lullaby.
The bay remains blank,
As the pensive morsels,
Rest against it.
