Who am I to be a defender of men?
How have I come so far to be where I am today?
Mom, you gave a name
A name that belongs to me and no one else
You named me Maria Alejandra
And now I carry with me a responsibility
Not only given by you but from God too
What he tells me to do, I will do
When you hear my name or maybe Ale too
