Forever and Always
When I first laid eyes on you
You had to be mine, I already knew.
We started talking, feelings grew.
But to me, all of this was new.
As I fell hard you were there to catch me
You were there to talk when my heart got heavy
I was scared, I ruined it all
I wasn’t ready to catch you, but you were ready to fall
You moved on and left me behind
I’m still holding on, still wishing you were mine
I changed my ways, I changed my mind
Hoping I’d win you back in time
I lay awake at night, thinking of those times
The good ones, the bad ones, the ones that left you crying
There’s a hole in my heart that only you can fill
I hope you know that I love you still.
If you don’t come back I’ll be okay.
And I promise to love you, forever and always.
