A poem can be so much fun to write
If only you have an idea what to write
But if not it can be a chore
Or maybe even a bore
So choose your words with care
Otherwise one wouldn’t dare
To spend too long
Reading along
Your poem you have written there
But if it is pleasant to where
The reader enjoys the rhyme
Or the rhythm or meaning or just the time
It took them to examine
Then definitely go ahead and write one about salmon
