The Sun

The sun hovers up in the sky,
Looking so deeply innocent to thy.
But if you look closely you'll be blind,
And thy thought the sun was kind?
The sun looks like it's so far that thy didn't think it would burn him,
But then he looks down to see his burnt skin.
Could it be the same with humans you doubt are strong?
Look closely and you'll see your past opinion was wrong.

It has good rhyme and I love rhyming poetry. It has good content. A great message. Short and sweet as others would say. 4 stars
