I am perfectly me.

I hear the words
Molded into actions
Down the halls.

“He likes girls
who are…”

I see these girls
And worse “Dumb”

It starts off as a game.
Innocent as can be.
But then they become
A girl they’re not.

There’s me
Doing my homework.
Getting dates.
By being…
Perfectly me.

I want the poem speak for itself.
