My High School
In my high school
Teachers think that the bully's are real cool
Young girls get labeled s**** everyday
And I learn how to fade a little more each day
I grew up here
I've learned to never show pain or fear
Only a hand full of people even care if I'm alive
To be invisible or mean is the only way you'll survive
Teachers know what's going on around them
But they don't care their bully is just a misunderstood gem
Boys spite in the faces of girls that they know will keep silent
And everyone wonders how a girl like me became so very violent
I try to describe my school to you
but words are just words no matter how true
I stand up to the teachers pet bully I'll never be silent when it comes to my family or a person I happen to call friend
I won't stay silent to their cruelity I long for the teachers to make the hurt end
But it seems that only a few actually care
About what is fair
Bully's with rich mommy's and daddy's always get their way
And girls like me, those who only have penny's to their name, are ignored at the end of the day
It doesn't matter don't you see?
Because in my high school no one wants to change how things happen to be
