I look here, I look there

And notice hope is seen nowhere.

The people smile, but they're broken

The words inside them, but they're unspoken.

Constant war splitting up brothers

Yet, politicians don't seem to bother.

Lots of corruption and malnutrition

Colder to the skin than a gun's ammunition.

Leaving behind just a vague shadow,

a vague shadow and lots of sorrow.

Lies and discrimination like a hungry hound,

sinking us deeper and deeper into the ground.

Tomorrow seems so far and distant,

It's time for everyone to make a stand.

To change for the better and leave the worst behind,

To change for the better and start changing mankind...
