Fallen Angels
A city filled with fears,
That makes me shed many tears.
The city looks calming and peaceful at night,
But do not be fooled because nothing is right.
It’s dark here, in this very scary place.
For the people who reside have sin on their face.
Within this poor city, filled with death and despair,
A heart can be broken, but can never be repaired.
In this depressing city, each night I would scream.
I am really sorry but this is not a dream.
I remember her smile, so soft and filled with glee.
Oh how remembering her is slowly killing me.
As I feel her presence, so warm and free,
I suffer from the pain of my own reality.
As I realize now the pain of being alone,
I take my knife in hand and shout, “Baby, I’m coming home!!”
Now you know my pain, don’t believe me then ask ole’ Ben.
He can tell you stories for he is filled with much sin.
Do you believe in angels?
