All of the feelings and emotion came rushing back.
The couple like a child reunited with his dad and the girl like a lonely lost dog.

There was only a seat between them but the paradox of emotion was gigantic.
This man held his girl, as he may never let go, joy was an underrated feeling.

The reunion was great but the night he had planned out was breathtaking.
In his left pocket held a rough, glowing ring that once his mother wore.

This ring was a symbol of love that lasts forever.
As for the girl who watches on, she wishes for someone to love her again.

Her life may never be the same.
Her pale face, the deep depressed expression was evident.

She had thought her life would not change she was invincible.
Then the day her loving parents had been destroyed in a split second.

All she had treasured was gone; her world was turned upside down.
Now she was on her way to abuse and anguish.

Her aunt and uncles’ house was not a home it was a prison.
The train came to a halt and the future family went on with love and the girl with misery.

The night was one the future wife of a military man never forgot.
However this night was one a sad girl would love to forget.

Their lives changed forever that year.
A wedding for the riches and an escape from prison.

A year after the train ride, the married couple and an abused girl meet once again.
The love still thrived and the girl finally found that gap that was gone from her life.

She finally witnessed love for the first time since her parents’ demise.
And the couple and girl that had been separated by one seat were now a family.
