My Life as a Manatee
I am a manatee,
living in the sea,
but my life is actually,
a sad reality.
I live in water,
and am always bothered.
My kind is endangered,
due to unkind strangers.
They walk on legs,
live on the sand,
they eat with hands,
and invade my land!
These strangers are humans
and they sail on boats,
hovering above
staying afloat.
I mind my own business eating my plants,
when these rude creatures barge in wearing pants.
On the bottom of the boats are swinging propellers,
they spin and hit me which ruffles my feathers!
These humans cause problems to us harmless creatures,
they cut us with propellers,
and crush us with their materials.
Just leave us alone you serial killers!
I am one of the few manatees
that live in the sea.
But I plea to you humans,
to live in peace with me!
