Happiness

What is happiness,
Is happiness love,
But if love is happiness why does it hurt.
Is happiness also pain,
Or is pain what we have to endure to reach happiness.
If we reach happiness, will the pain end for just a moment
Or will it end for good.
Is the only ending of pain death,
Yet death causes pain to others.
Or is knowledge the cause of pain,
And without knowledge will there be no pain.
And with no pain,
Would there be no happiness?
