The children sing,
Why oh why,
Don’t they just scream?

Tiptoe around,
Careful of every move,

Trees turn brown,
Rain drops drip,
Children still sing,
Laughter begins,

Shattering now,
Shattering how?
The light seeps threw,
Things turn wrong,

Why oh why,
Didn’t they scream?
