The man takes a deep breath.
He inhales, the cold winter breeze flowing through his lungs.
Placing his right foot in front of the other, he leans backward.
Thrusting his arms forward, the line flies through the air.
Suddenly, a “plop”
The lewer splashes into the water.
The man waits for the pull, waits for the pole to bend.
Suddenly it bends and the man’s heart beat speeds up.
The hunt is on, a battle between strength and timing
He knows that if he pulls the line up to quickly his prey will let go
Ten minutes later the man sits by an open fire, holding his trophy with a smile on his face.
