Lost Lost Lost
Breathing through a gas mask
Avoiding the poison in the air
Created by our fights, your dignity
Which is never ending
But nonexistent, also
Now that you happen to be gone and lost
Just like me,
Though I am still here
Waiting for you to come home, just
Awaiting your arrival,
Almost missing you, but not quite there yet
Can't you see
How hurt I am,
How injured I can be?
I have bald spots and rigid scars
Where hair and clear skin should be
And to think,
I enjoyed your company,
Once upon a time.
I feel like a drum is beating
Where my heart should be.
And when you get my letters,
Do you see?
That there's only two people left,
You and me.
And we're oh so lost.
