Evol Truth
Like, adore, lust, obsess, ignore,
Two strangers meet and desire for more.
The blankly white stages follow behind each other,
Just like the two infatuated with one another.
A repetitive and destructive cycle that wages war,
One that could tear white picket fenced houses apart,
But yet, we never really learn from it.
A myriad of colorful fish in the sea they say,
But I only see in black and white,
Sometimes I am lucky enough to see in grey.
We want what we cannot have,
And become comfortable when we are given,
Exactly what we wished for.
