I am driven.
Driven to drive away
Determined.
Determined to try today
I am strong
Strong as a shattered glass
For you I long
Long to forget at last
Ask me to smile, smile I will,
Ask laugh, you will have your fill,
Ask me to cry, I never shall,
Ask me to die; I'll say "Goodbye”,
I only aim to please.
I am not weak,
I have strength.
When I smile, it is not at length.
Not dead
Merely gone
Once being lost, a sad hearts song.
For when I weep, finally free
Yet tortured for eternity.
I was driven
You drove me away,
No longer will I try today.
