The Horsemen
Four Angels stood fast
Heeding, waiting for the sound of the blast
Their power so mighty even demons fear
Their daunting presence treading near
The day the month the year has been set
The payment of mankind’s increasing debt
No hour so dark the trumpet does sound
The Angels as riders take to the ground
Their horses embodied the lion’s head
Leaving in their wake a trail of dead
Thou can run Thou can hide
But surely still Thou wilt die
The rider’s armor sparked as red fire
Another of sulfur and the last of sapphire
Roaring and clawing from the mouth of the steed
Fire and smoke the people did feed
Through the plague a third of mankind
Final and Forever did they lie
