A Battle Between Two Worlds
I feel a push and a pull,
From one world to another
Occurring day after day.
Only ten minutes apart,
The worlds collide.
Always split down the middle,
My personality is sliced in two
And I find myself constantly searching
For the real me.
To one, I am nothing.
In that house I will not find it.
All hope is lost.
To the other, I am an angel.
In this house I seem to grasp it.
All hope is found.
Confusion is strewn in the daily routine
Of a back and forth struggle of who I am.
One house,
To the next
One life,
To the next
