Ham's Trailer Park
There once was a trailer park down on Route 106;
Ran by a spry old man with a wide toothy grin.
That man went by the name of Ham…
Which is short for Helmut of course.
A very bright man Ham was,
Every thing he did, he did as a genius does.
Yet every sentence from his lips made as
much sense as a bumble-bee’s buzz.
Such a fantastical place Ham’s
Trailer Park was, full of trucks and tractors
and all kinds of bugs.
We were there for the excavator standing
three stories high. And after our many baths in
hydraulic oil and diesel fuel, the beast came alive.
We all marveled as it spit its thick black
smoke towards the sky. And by we I mean
Me, my Father, Ham and the Mexican guy.
Even now that it’s all said and done,
I will never forget Ham’s Trailer Park;
Where the big boys go for their grease filled fun.
